The Wii comes bundled with a composite cable (yellow video, red white audio). Composite squashes all the video information into one yellow cable resulting in a horrible looking picture especially on LCD's and large TVs. The main problem with composite is "dot crawl" a checkerboard looking effect where two contrasting colours meet. It makes small text particularly hard to read.
